FABI update: new 3D printed cases

posted in: Allgemein, News | 0

In the past, we used laser-cut acrylic cases. A very cheap laser cutter was sufficient.

Today, more and more people and hackerspaces have 3D printers.

We also have our Prusa i3, so we decided to design a new case for the FABI interface, which:

  • Is easy to print
  • Is easy to assemble
  • Is compatible to all existing FABI devices

We are using extrudr's GreenTec filament, which is FDA approved and temperature resistant up to 115°C!
